Nepal Under -19 cricket team is in thailand to participate ACC Under-19 Elite Cup

The ACC U-19 Elite Cup is scheduled to be held in Thailand from February 1 to 10. Nepal is in Group B along with Afghanistan, Oman, UAE and Thailand for league matches. Prithu will lead the team that also consists of national players Rahul Kumar Biswokarma and Naresh Budhayar, the selection committee of the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) announced.

Rahul is named vice-captain of the team that consists four debutant player. Rajesh Pulami, Mohammad Hashim, Faizal Khan and Rahul Pratap Singh are the players who have not represented the nation in any age-group level.

Other members of the team are Subash Khakurel, Pradeep Airee, Bhuwan Karki, Bibek Dali, Avinash Karn, Krishna Karki and Sagar Pun.

Nepal one of the non test playing country which have done well in the Under 19 in asian region  as well as under 19 world cup having been chosen as plate champion and had very good history of beating some test playing nation like Bangladesh , Newzland and south Africa. Nepal have dominant when it played against non test playing nation but in previous tournament Nepal had failed to select for the world cup losing seminal against talented Afghanistan.

Before leaving for Bangladesh In an interview with Cricket Nepal, Prithu said the team’s aim to gain the lost glory by qualifying to the Youth World Cup. In Bangladesh Nepal loses all three matches against host Bangladesh that had taken place in Sylhet. First two match were 50 overs and lat was the 20-20 match. In first match Nepal failed against Bangladesh with the deafeat of ten wicket while in second match Nepal again lost with 145 runs. Nepal U-19 cricket team ended the Bangladesh tour with a 68-run loss in the one-off Twenty20 match against Bangladesh U-19 at Sylhet on Saturday.Though they had lost against strong Bangladesh they had learned lot from the practice match. So coach and captain are still hopeful  to win the champions ship and select for world cup. “We have learned a lot from here. We got an opportunity to face a tough spinner and came to know that we have to improve a lot in batting,” said  jagat Tamata who have been appointed as a coach after Nepal said good bye to the srilankan coach Roy dias.

Maula Kalika one of the Religious destination of Nepal!!!!

Located in the premises of holy religious site Devghat Dham, the Maula Kalika temple locally called danda kalika  is a famous religious pilgrimage and tourist site of the nawalparasi district of Nepal. The temple is situated on the hilltop, around a kilometer north of the East-West Highway in Gaindakot VDC-1 of Nawalparasi lying in the lap of the Narayani River in the mid-part of Nepal. To reach the temple, it takes two kilometers trek to hill upward from three kilometers west of Narayanghat of Chitwan. One has to cross 1,892 footsteps to reach up to the temple from the base of the hill  till where one can go through vehichle.

The temple is highly-acclaimed from the point of view of religious tourism and ecology for its location in the altitude of 561 metres from sea-level in the summit above the holy shrines of Devghat, which is nestled at the confluence of two  rivers- the Kali Gandaki and the Trisuli originating from Damodarkunda and Gosainkunda and on the junction of Nawalparasi, Chitwan and Tanahun districts. This natural location of temple has enhanced her touristy and spiritual attraction. Devghat is regarded as the best and most ancient of the prayagas(confluence of two rivers).

Situated on the hilltop amidst dense green forest, it is gaining recognition as a spiritual centre as well as a holy place for fulfilling the wishes expressed by devotees and worshippers before the Goddess. With the increased beauty and panorama of the place with the systematic prayers to the temple since 2038 BS, infrastructure development on the people’s mobilization and constructions of temple in pyagoda style in 2052 BS, the score of visitors has remarkably gone up in the temple for last few years. The snow-capped scenic beauty in the north, holy place Devghat, Chitwan National Park, Sauraha, Tigers Top, and other enchanting natural beauty visible to the north from the temple delight every tourists reaching there. Likewise, people-conserved peace forest park (Banbatika), artistic slate-paved way, stands, tap stands, stations, and various temples on the way to Maulakali are also inspiring people to visit the temple again and again.

Worth-seeing scenes from the hilltop and the pleasure one feels from trekking and wandering green dense forests also mesmerize people there, rocketing the number of visitors arriving in this altitude from all parts of the country thereby help promote internal tourism in the area.

Visitors can offer prayer and worship to Siddi Binayak Ganesh, Shree Krishna and Deurali Devi on the way to Maulakalika and take joy of the incredible natural beauty intensified by the forest and cool and clean weather on the way to the temple.

There has been public belief that their wishes have been accomplished following the worship to the Goddess Kalika believed to impart conspicuous divine power. Hence, devotees and youths are said to have attained their cherished wishes and intended love with the adoration of Bhagawati.

Shivalinga have been set up in the temple premises. Likewise, the temple is well-equipped with RCC kitchen building, room for guests and religious citations, welcome gate, hospitality building and so on. There has also been sound management of drinking water and electricity in the temple.

In the beginning of the 16th century (around 500 years ago)  during  the rule of the king of palpa manimukunda sen , the army of that time had created a maula and established the maula along with statue  of kalika bhagwati  and started praying goddess and later the temple along with its conten was vanished under the land after the major earth  quake in Nepal. Later on 2032 B.S,.a cenior citizen of gandakot  named kashinath paudyal saw goddess in his dream and the place recommended by him was later checked in the presence of authorities and  the people found maula, some ghantas and statues in the recommended place. Later the Local people form the committee and started worshipping the godess and form temples and other infrastructure. Later the number  of piligrims from different part of the country and northen part of India  started visiting the site .

Here are some simple and “any one can follow” tips to optimize Adsense ads:

1) Blend your ads effectively with your site theme. Match your Adsense colors with your site colors.

2) Do not use borders to your text ads. Ads without border and matching background with site background color always perform well over other ad units.

3) Have some Ad color themes that perform best with your site. At least 2-3 well performing ad color formats should be ok. Rotate your ad units with these color themes. This is just to avoid Ad blindness.

4) Use link units in your site. Link units near site navigation links can perform well. Other advantages of link units are – you don’t need too much Ad space on your site and link units are not annoying to users.

5) Use Google site-specific search box with Adsense. This is the best option other than content targeted ads. You have option to select ad location on your site search result page. Put Adsense ads at the top and bottom of search result page. The best location of Google search box is – top right corner of your site.

6) Place 250×250 size Ad unit at the top of every page or post. If you are using WordPress hosting then 250×250 text or image ad option should perform best for every site. Don’t forget to align this ad unit at right or left side of the post content as shown in the image below.

7) Prefer Text ads instead of image ads. This will increase probability of more user interested ads. I will to suggest keep the text and image ad formats for your site. Use text and image ad format for following type of ad formats:
250×250 Square
160×600 wide skyscraper
336×280 large rectangle
300×250 medium rectangle
These are best performing ad units and will also increase your ad inventory.

8 ) Use section targeting to target ads relevant to your site or page content. Section targeting code is nothing but code tag provided by Google to direct their crawler to show relevant ads to page content. Use section targeting code on each page.
Here is the sample section targeting code:

If you want irrelevant content to be ignored, then use following tag:

Section targeting will increase ad relevancy and thus CTR.

9) Ad placement is important. Place the Adsense ads above the main fold, means user should see your top performing ad units without scrolling down on your site. This will increase Ad CTR.

10) High performing ad slots: Top of left sidebar and top of individual post. Try these ad slots on your site. Use link unit (obviously with blended color) at the top corner of left sidebar and 250×250 or 336×280 Text and image rectangle ad unit in your post content (Align at left or right side of post content).

11) Block low paying and irrelevant ads showing on your site. Use competitive ad filter Adsense feature for this. Do well study before blocking any ad unit. Some times one ad unit can give you $0.01 in one country and same ad unit might give you $1 in other country. So be careful while blocking the ads.

12) Use Google Adsense ad preview tool can help you to view all ads showing on your site and also helpful for blocking irrelevant ads.

13) Keep more white space around your ads. Do not burry your ads somewhere “out of focus” location. Site content should have enough breathing space so as your ad units.

14) Study your keywords. Target ads to these keywords. If you are not using section targeting Adsense feature then don’t forget to add your page-targeted keywords in the beginning of your post. Google Adsense crawler generally searches for first one or two paragraphs to target ads to that page.

15) You can increase number of ads to be displayed on your site’s main page and individual pages. But please not too many ads.

16) Placing images above or next to the ad units will increase ad visibility and more chances of click on such ads increasing your CTR.

17) Besides the top performers I mentioned in tip no 10, you can use following “heatmap” provided by Google to analyze other top performing ad placement slots. See the Image below. Ad slots with dark color are hot spots than the faint ones.

18) Track all ad performance using Channels. Channels are nothing but individual ad units, which you can track for performance. Study the Adsense revenue report in detail.  Don’t keep on changing ad formats, colors and placements every one or two days. Track the ad unit placement at least for 2 weeks to judge the ad slot performance.

19) Optimize your site for search engines. SEO is the key point for high traffic websites. Moreover traffic from search engines can convert well in case of Adsense ads. Users coming from search engines are clicking more on your Adsense ads than regular readers.

20) Ads placed in-between the content perform well. But keep in mind this can be annoying to your site readers. So avoid too much of blended ads in content.
If you have small posts then put ads at the top of the page content. If you have big post then ad units placed at the bottom or middle of the post can perform well. Do not use skyscraper ads in post content.

21) Test, Test and Test to work it best!!!

So integrating Adsense ads into your site content is the key point for high revenue from Google Adsense.
