Nepal Topped Group B of ACC Women’s Twenty20 Championship in Kuwait!!!

Nepal beat Malaysia by 9 wickets to continue its unbeaten sprit in the ACC Women’s Twenty20 Championship at KOC, Hubara in Kuwait.

Malaysia scored 68 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in 20 over after they elected to bat first as they won the toss. Chasing the total Nepal only loses one wicket to achieve the target in just fourteen over for a comprehensive victory. Sita Rana scored unbeaten 21 runs for the victory.  Captain Nira Rajopadhya scored 18 while rashmi scored 13.

Player of the Match Rubina 

Earlier, player of the match Rubina Chhetri grabbed four wickets and Karuna Bhandari claimed two wickets and captain Nira grabbed one wicket  to restrict Malaysia to a lowly total. E Eliani top scored 33 for Malaysia.

It’s fourth win for Nepal in four league matches. Nepal toped the group B so now Nepal will now meet the Group A runners-up in the semifinal on February 24 at Hubara.
